Crawling into November...Maybe!?!?!?
5 months old and we all are loving it! Gabriella is STILL a fantastic sleeper. She is also one busy little girl...or we keep her that way! She is part of our family so she needs to learn young to keep up!!! :) So far so good...Gabriella is saying "mama" and sitting up all on her own :) Eeeeeeeeee so exciting!

Family Fun...
The month of September was SO busy for ALL of us! Gabriella is now 3 months and still such a busy little girl! We all went to Pennsylvania for cousin Megan's bridal shower and ended up staying for an extra week! We also got to show off Gabriella to the "Quader" side of the family. Gabriella also got to meet Great Grandma Shore...she loved it! It was so nice to kick back and relax w/ the family! Gabriella and I got a chance to get tons of pictures taken every single day! It was great to stay for the week but we sure did miss Daddy!
When we got home and settled in Aunt C, Cassie, and Kelly came to visit and meet Gabriella for the first time...in person! ;) It was great to have the ladies here...Aunt C was nice enough to babysit Gabriella while Paul and I had a "Date Night" (which we LOVED)!
On the morning we dropped Aunt C and the girls at the airport we made plans to take a little trip of our own! It was Gabriella's first time on an airplane...and she did FANTASTIC!

Gabriella first 2 months of Fun, Fun, Fun...
For being only and already 2 months old Gabriella has been a very busy little lady! Mims came and stayed w/ us for my first week...along w/ Pap and Aunt Zekie coming up to visit. Then Aunt Roni, Uncle J, Jaeron, and Ty made the drive for less than 24 hours just to see our new little bundle. Then Gram came and stayed w/ us for 2 weeks, all the way from South Carolina. Lots of people to meet and places to go...It is busy, busy, busy being such an in demand baby! We are loving our little girl and living it up.
When Mims was in town we went to see Toy Story 3, shopping, and we went on tons of walks! We even had a tornado watch...we had to pack everyone up and head over to Lindsey, Marc, and Kai's house to take cover until the storm passed! It was so much fun and Mims was so helpful in that first week! Thanks so much Mims!
We celebrated Aunt Roni's 33rd birthday while she was here for such a short time...but her and the boys made up for it later. ;) Aunt Roni, Uncle J, Jaeron, and Ty came up over 4th of July weekend. We went to see fireworks and Gabriella slept through the whole show! Not so exciting for her first 4th...Oh well, there will be plenty! :) Gabriella sure does love all the attention she had been getting!
The whole family got to hang out in Saline, at the beginning of July, for the Bid for a Cure event that was hosted by the BG! While there Gabriella was showered w/ attention from everyone. She got to meet Paws, the mascot for the Detroit Tigers and Brandon Inge. At the event Paul and I won tickets to the Toledo Mud Hens and Lansing Lugnut's. More first for our baby girl to enjoy w/ us!
Then, Gram came and stayed for 2 weeks and we did lots of fun things and met lots of friends and family! She too was fantastic to have around to lighten the load on both Paul and I! We went to a Lansing Lugnut's game and Gram watched Gabriella (quality Gram/baby time) while Paul and I went out for our very first date night! Thanks again Gram!
We went to Gabriella's first birthday party for Chole's (who was turning 2) which was super cute @ Melissa townhouse! Gabriella helped w/ her first yard sale that we had @ the house...along w/ Aunt Roni and the boys...they came up and helped watched Gabriella while Paul and I set up and tore down each night! She also got her first taste of the water park w/ her cousins and Auntie @ Rolling Hills!
Gabriella loves going for car rides. Especially rides into the BG to visit Daddy or go shopping w/ Mommy, which we do OFTEN.
We loved having friends and family come to visit and stay but we sure were happy to have our Baby Girl all to ourselves for a few weeks and enjoy our new family!
Gabriella is sleeping, on average, 6 hours a night, rolling over, holding her head up for long periods of time, laughing, making the cutest cooing noises, smiling TONS, and discovering that it is just as good to have her thumb in her mouth than anything else. If she can't quite get her thumb in...any part of her hand will do just fine! Most importantly Gabriella is making us both happier than we ever could have thought we can be! We can't wait to see what month 2-3 will bring!!! :)
Love,
Paul, Nikki & Gabriella xoxoxoxoxoxo

Baby Girl has ARRIVED...
We had a beautiful labor & delivery that started June 17th @ 11:35 pm when my water broke. It ended @ 7:25 am on June 18th when our princess showed her precious little face!!!
I am so thankful and blessed that I was surrounded by such a wonderful group of family and friends. Paul was AMAZING not only during labor and delivery, but throughout the entire pregnancy! I really am one lucky lady :)
I am also so happy my mom and dad made it up from Pennsylvania. They rushed up as soon as they got the call...of course mom didn't believe it @ first. It didn't take long for her to realize this WAS the real deal! Mom was awesome at just being there, it was so important to me that her and my Dad were there. Not to mention all of the fantastic pictures that mom got w/ such a great eye and keeping my private parts "PRIVATE"! Love you so much Mom & Dad ;)
I am also so grateful to have had Lindsey there who helped keep my mind occupied w/ gossip magazines, walks, and great conversation! I think she may have been just as excited as Paul and I were to meet Gabriella!
Lindsey's mom Michelle was our PERSONAL nurse and gave us our Private Lamaze classes. She worked so hard and long as our nurse through our entire labor and delivery! She was a "superwoman" to say the least...once we called mom to let her know my water broke the next person I called was Michelle. She had just gotten home from a 13 hour shift at the hospital and then we called her and she said "Come pick me up". We picked her up and she drove w/ us back to the hospital, she had just left, all while observing my progression in labor, explaining what was happening, and keeping me/us calm. Once arriving to the hospital we recieved VIP treatment from Michelle. The Labor & Delivery unit was super busy so there wasn't even a room for us to check into. Michelle ended up taking us into a "section prep room" and she worked her nursing magic from there...checking us in, monitoring baby, and mama etc.! Once we got into a delivery room she was with us until the end! We even got the doctor we wanted to deliver our baby girl, Dr. Sue Archer. We must have had the labor & delivery God's shining down on us that sweet day. You were and are the BEST Michelle ;)
I felt as though I had the greatest experience for my first pregnancy...I wouldn't have changed a thing...except the going #2 part! (of course, I am speaking for myself...Paul may have liked to skip the mood swings in the beginning) In the end it all was the most life changing and amazing thing Paul & I have ever gone through. Now we have Gabriella who is perfect, happy, healthy and we are so excited to raise up a wonderful little girl!!!
We will be posting @ least once a month to keep family & friends in the loop of all the new and fun things our little Gabriella is up to! :)
~Lots of Love,
Paul, Nikki, & Gabriella ;)
